Mrs. Mock's 3rd Grade Distance Learning Plan
I am dedicated to ensuring continuity of instruction by providing all of the learning resources you need to keep your student on target for our end-of-the-year learning goals. Here, you will find our weekly learning objectives for all core subjects, as well as original instructional material broken down by daily lesson. I will continue to communicate with you and your student daily in a variety of ways including phone calls, email, photographs, videos, or ClassDojo posts and messages. Distance learning will occur in very much the same way as in a classroom:
Attendance:
Students will be marked "present" each day by completing a daily task in their ClassDojo portfolio. This daily prompt may require that students share a "Good Thing" by typing a response, take a picture, submit a short video, or draw something. Prompts will vary, so students must log in every day to receive credit.
Grades:
All assignments will be graded, and students will receive feedback on completed work. These grades will be posted in Rediker and included in averages for our final trimester report cards. I may even display them on our Class Story on Dojo-just like we do in our hallway!
Assignments:
Students will be asked to complete work in a variety of ways. In addition to uploading in ClassDojo, students may be asked to complete a page from their Math In Focus workbooks, complete a written assignment, draw a picture, or read from their novel, Bunnicula, and fill out their reading log. It is as easy as sending a picture of the completed work to me via email, Dojo Message, or Dojo portfolio!
Thank you,
