All Saints' Day is on Friday, November 1st. This a Holy Day of Obligation. We do not have school this day, but we encourage all families to attend Mass this day and attend the Parish All Saints Day Party. We will celebrate All Saints Day at school on Monday, November 4. The children will do a school wide Litany of the Saints at 8:30AM in the school gym. Students may come to school dressed as a saint of their choosing on this day. Teacher's are working with students to help them pick out a Saint. Costumes do not have to be elaborate (a pillowcase or bathrobe can make a great robe). You are welcome to use props instead of or in addition to their costume (carry a rose for St. Rose, a stuffed animal for St. Francis, a baby doll for St. Mary, etc.). Students should arrive at school dressed in their saint costume. Their costume should preferably go over their uniform. If that is not possible, please pack a uniform that they can change into. They will change out of their costumes before recess/snack.
